Reduction for a single passage
  • PROCAIR
Procair provides disinfected air and a relaxed breath of fresh air. Nothing stands in the way of enjoying togetherness and carefree living within your own four walls.
  • EFFECTIVE
The high effectiveness of Procair has been confirmed by independent laboratories. For this purpose, the inactivation of pathogens in the air stream has been investigated using the surrogate virus MS2. Procair was proven to reduce the viral load by up to 99.9999 % (6 log levels) in a single passage. Proof of efficacy was provided by Biotec GmbH using pre-series models.
  • SAFE
The system is safe to operate indoors in the presence of persons with special care needs, as there are no harmfull emissions caused like UVC radiation or ozone.
  • DURABLE
The components and materials used are designed for maximum durability.
  • CERTIFIED
Procair has been tested and certified by the VDE and already exceeds by far the requirements of the new standard for UVC air disinfection devices, DIN/TS 67506, which will soon be adopted.
The following standards, guidelines and recommendations were used during development:
    + DIN/TS 67506
    + DIN EN 62471
    + DIN EN 60335-1
    + DIN EN 60335-2-65

Technology

  • ROOM LIGHTING
For ceiling mounting, the unit is available with integrated direct and indirect lighting (4000 K).
  • CONTROL SYSTEM
Individual and multiple units can be conveniently controlled with the remote control as a standard. Various fan levels allow the room air circulation to be adjusted. The brightness of the room lighting can also be regulated.
  • SENSORS
The integrated sensor system monitors numerous device parameters and its environmental conditions for the best possible function. The following factors are analysed in each Procair:
+ Monitoring the output of UVC lamps
+Air throughput with readjustment of the fan power
    + Temperature & humidity
+Shutdown when the unit is shaken
+ Air quality through VOC sensor
  • FLEXIBLE INSTALLATION
The unit can be installed in almost any room due to different mounting configurations. However, the actual air disinfection depends strongly on the local conditions. We will be happy to advise you on finding the optimal solution for your application.

Effects

  • Description

Procair ensures a high disinfection performance while assuring the necessary air circulation. With the help of extensive UVC/CFD simulations, the interior of the unit has been optimised in terms of radiation and flow. The result is a particularly efficient disinfection of the room air. This was biodosimetrically validated under full scale conditions by third party laboratories (University of Stuttgart / Biotec GmbH).

  • UVC-IRRADIATION
Exposure with UVC irradiation damages the DNA of microorganisms like bacteria and virus contained in aerosols. The high UV dose provided by Procair leads to their permanent inactivation. To ensure optimum inactivation of the incoming germs, sufficient UVC radiation must be made available at every point in the unit and the flow through the unit must be as uniform as possible. An irradiation chamber specially developed for this purpose, optimised in terms of flow and radiation physics, ensures an optimum irradiation dose in Procair.
  • AIR FLOW
To inactivate bacteria and viruses, a certain minimum UVC dose is required - depending on the micro-organism. A uniform and stable flow within the unit is therefore a basic requirement for ensuring this minimum duration. The flow channel designed for this purpose ensures a laminar flow from the air inlet to the air outlet. The fan stages were designed in such a way that a high irradiation duration is guaranteed at all times.

e) Right to restrict processing

Any data subject shall have the right to obtain from the controller the restriction of processing where one of the following conditions is met:

-The accuracy of the personal data is contested by the data subject for a period enabling the controller to verify the accuracy of the personal data.

-The processing is unlawful, the data subject objects to the erasure of the personal data and requests instead the restriction of the use of the personal data.

-The controller no longer needs the personal data for the purposes of the processing, but the data subject needs it for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.

-The data subject has objected to the processing pursuant to Article 21(1) of the GDPR and it is not yet clear whether the legitimate grounds of the controller override those of the data subject.

f) Right to data portability

He or she also has the right to transmit this data to another controller without hindrance from the controller to whom the personal data have been provided, provided that the processing is based on consent pursuant to Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR or Article 9(2)(a) of the GDPR or on a contract pursuant to Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR and the processing is carried out with the aid of automated procedures, unless the processing is necessary for the performance of a task carried out in the public interest or in the exercise of official authority vested in the controller.

Furthermore, when exercising the right to data portability pursuant to Article 20(1) of the GDPR, the data subject shall have the right to obtain the direct transfer of personal data from one controller to another controller where technically feasible and provided that this does not adversely affect the rights and freedoms of other individuals.

g) Right to object

Every data subject has the right to object at any time, on grounds relating to his or her particular situation, to the processing of personal data concerning him or her which is carried out on the basis of Article 6(1)(e) or (f) of the DSGVO. This also applies to profiling based on these provisions.

We shall no longer process the personal data in the event of the objection, unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing which override the interests, rights and freedoms of the data subject, or for the assertion, exercise or defence of legal claims.

If we process personal data for the purpose of direct marketing, the data subject shall have the right to object at any time to processing of personal data processed for such marketing. This also applies to profiling insofar as it is related to such direct marketing. If the data subject objects to us to the processing for direct marketing purposes, we will no longer process the personal data for these purposes.

In addition, the data subject has the right, on grounds relating to his or her particular situation, to object to processing of personal data concerning him or her which is carried out by us for scientific or historical research purposes, or for statistical purposes pursuant to Article 89(1) of the Data Protection Regulation, unless such processing is necessary for the performance of a task carried out in the public interest.

The data subject shall be free to exercise his or her right to object by means of automated procedures using technical specifications in the context of the use of information society services, notwithstanding Directive 2002/58/EC.

h) Automated decisions in individual cases including profiling

Every data subject shall have the right not to be subject to a decision based solely on automated processing, including profiling, which produces legal effects concerning him or her or similarly significantly affects him or her, unless the decision (1) is necessary for entering into, or the performance of, a contract between the data subject and the controller, or (2) is permitted by Union or Member State law to which the data controller is subject, and that law contains suitable measures to safeguard the data subject's rights and freedoms and legitimate interests, or (3) is made with the data subject's explicit consent.

If the decision (1) is necessary for entering into, or the performance of, a contract between the data subject and the controller, or (2) it is made with the data subject's explicit consent, we will take reasonable steps to safeguard the data subject's rights and freedoms and legitimate interests, including at least the right to obtain the data subject's involvement, to express his or her point of view and to contest the decision.

i) Right to withdraw consent under data protection law.

Every data subject has the right to revoke, in whole or in part and with effect for the future, any consent given for the processing of personal data at any time without giving reasons.

The revocation shall not affect the lawfulness of the data processing carried out on the basis of the consent given prior to receipt of the revocation.

The revocation can be made in any way permitted by law for the transmission of declarations, in particular by post, fax or e-mail to the contact details of the data controller given above.

Assertion of rights, supervisory authority

If the data subject wishes to exercise one or more of the aforementioned rights, he or she may, at any time, contact our Data Protection Officer or another employee of the controller.

You also have the option of contacting a data protection supervisory authority with information or complaints.

The data protection supervisory authority responsible for us is: Bayerisches Landesamt für Datenschutzaufsicht (BayLDA), Promenade 27, 91522.
